1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any service provided by UrgentGo Courier Zimbabwe ("UrgentGo", "we", "us", or "our"), including our website at urgentgocourier.co.zw, mobile platforms, API integrations, and courier services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services. These Terms apply to all users, including senders, recipients, business account holders, and agents.

2. Our Services

2.1 Scope of Services

UrgentGo provides domestic and cross-border courier and parcel delivery services across Zimbabwe, including same-day delivery, overnight delivery, economy delivery, airfreight, and cross-border freight between South Africa and Zimbabwe. Service availability may vary by location and is subject to change without notice.

2.2 Service Limitations

We reserve the right to refuse any shipment at our sole discretion. We do not guarantee delivery times, as these may be affected by factors outside our control including weather, road conditions, customs delays, public holidays, and force majeure events.

2.3 E-Commerce Integrations

Our Shopify, WooCommerce, and REST API integrations are provided as-is for business account holders. Integration availability and features may be updated or discontinued at any time. We are not liable for any losses arising from integration downtime or changes.

3. Booking & Orders

3.1 Placing an Order

All bookings must be made through our official website, authorised agents, or approved API integrations. By placing an order, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete, including sender and recipient details, parcel dimensions, weight, and declared value.

3.2 Waybill & Tracking

Upon successful booking, a waybill number will be issued. This number serves as your proof of shipment and is required for tracking and any claims. UrgentGo is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect or incomplete booking information.

3.3 Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before collection at no charge. Once a parcel has been collected, cancellation fees may apply. Refunds for cancelled orders will be processed within 7–14 business days.

4. Prohibited Items

4.1 Restricted Goods

You must not send any items that are prohibited by law in Zimbabwe or South Africa, or that violate our Prohibited Items Policy. This includes but is not limited to: illegal drugs and narcotics, firearms and ammunition (without proper licensing), hazardous materials, perishable goods without prior arrangement, counterfeit goods, live animals, and human remains.

4.2 Consequences of Prohibited Shipments

If a prohibited item is discovered, UrgentGo reserves the right to refuse, hold, or dispose of the shipment without liability. The sender will be held responsible for all costs, fines, and legal consequences arising from the shipment of prohibited items. Please review our full Prohibited Items list before booking.

5. Liability & Claims

5.1 Limitation of Liability

UrgentGo's liability for loss, damage, or delay is limited to the declared value of the parcel, up to a maximum of USD $100 per shipment unless additional insurance has been purchased. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages of any kind.

5.2 Damaged or Lost Parcels

Claims for damaged or lost parcels must be submitted within 7 days of the scheduled delivery date. Claims submitted after this period will not be accepted. To file a claim, contact us at support@urgentgocourier.co.zw with your waybill number, photos of damage (if applicable), and proof of value.

5.3 Exclusions

UrgentGo is not liable for: delays caused by customs or border authorities, damage to fragile items not properly packaged, loss or damage due to force majeure events, or incorrect delivery resulting from inaccurate recipient information provided by the sender.

5.4 Insurance

Additional insurance coverage is available for high-value shipments. Please contact our team or enquire when booking. Insurance premiums are non-refundable once a shipment has been collected.

6. Payment & Pricing

6.1 Pricing

All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice. The price quoted at the time of booking will be honoured for that shipment. Additional charges may apply for remote areas, oversized parcels, or special handling requirements.

6.2 Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of booking unless you hold an approved business account with credit terms. Accepted payment methods include EcoCash, bank transfer, and cash on delivery (where available). Unpaid invoices may result in suspension of services.

6.3 Business Accounts

Business account holders are subject to separate credit terms agreed upon account approval. Invoices are issued monthly and are due within 30 days. Late payments may attract interest charges and account suspension.

7. Packaging Requirements

7.1 Sender's Responsibility

The sender is responsible for ensuring all parcels are adequately packaged to withstand normal handling during transit. UrgentGo will not be liable for damage resulting from inadequate packaging. Fragile items must be clearly labelled and appropriately cushioned.

7.2 Labelling

All parcels must be clearly labelled with the recipient's full name, address, and contact number. Labels must be securely attached and legible. UrgentGo is not responsible for misdelivery caused by illegible or missing labels.

8. User Accounts & Business Accounts

8.1 Account Registration

To access certain features, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

8.2 Account Termination

UrgentGo reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or poses a risk to our operations or other users. Termination does not relieve you of any outstanding payment obligations.
